Installed in an old, now unused fired clay basin at the Fondation OBRAS in Portugal, the video projection shows a body submerging into water. The clay basin, most likely once used as a washbasin for children and laundry, now becomes a vessel for moving images. Framed by the circular architecture of the basin, the projected image appears like a living echo of the site itself.

Surrounded by darkness, illuminated only by the moon and the glow of the projection, body, water, and architecture merge into a meditative visual field. The figure in the video is no longer clearly identifiable as human; rather, it appears as a being in a state of in-between—fluid, transformed, ambiguous. A liminal creature, moving between worlds—neither fully human nor entirely other.
