Reactivate! Art in Public Space

Performance with an Art Historian and a Gymnast | Approx. 45 min. during the exhibition opening in Zug | 2013

Reactivate! Art in Public Space was an exhibition project in the city of Zug featuring innovative art and mediation projects that engaged with existing public artworks or reinterpreted them. The project took place from 22 August to 28 September 2013 across Zug’s urban spaces and embraced experimental approaches and reflected current discourses in art, art theory, and mediation.

During the opening event of Reactivate! Art in Public Space, a performance of the same title was presented featuring art historian Gabriela Blumer Kamp Brâten and gymnast Andreas Gribi. While the art historian introduced a selection of artworks in Zug’s public spaces, the gymnast trained and performed on them in peak condition.
